I have now visited several other groups to look at ideas and get advice for setting up our new Explorer Unit.
One issue we had was a lack of space which we have now overcome by securing a regular meeting room at another church hall only a few minutes walk away from St. Peters. We are going to start using this extra space from this coming week for the Scouts and from September for Explorers.
More good news is that one of our Scout parents, Jeff, has agreed to be a new Assistant Explorer Scout Leader and until we start will be helping with the Scout section.
