SUNDAY 10TH APRIL 2011
All sections to meet at St Peters before 1pm on Sunday 10th April – full uniform is required (no trainers or jeans) – dark trousers with grey / black socks if possible.
There will be a collection for the charity “ The Laura centre” – monies will be collected before the parade.
We shall be walking from St Peters church to the market place (leaving 1pm) Market place south (near the fish market nr Santander/ A&L). the parade is due to start 1.30pm
After the parade we shall be treating all sections to a MacDonald’s Happy meal (any additional cost to be paid by individuals on the day )
We shall return to St Peters for collection at approx 16.45 – 17.00
Parents /families are welcomed and encouraged to watch the parade .
Celebrating St George’s Day is particularly important to scouts as it enables us to renew our promise with other groups and to parade in honour of our Founder (Baden-Powell) and show respect to the Queen.
